In a previous study, the self and air broadening coefficients were determined for a number of lines in the ν2 and ν5 manifold for CH3F. This observation was reanalyzed. The new data resulting from this analysis, in which the Gaussian component was calculated from the sample temperature, is the line intensity data for which reasonable behavior with increasing J values was calculated. The reanalysis was found to yield more precise results than previous values reported.
