Abstract
Sensor networks are key mechanisms to integrate relevant features from the physical world, and in particular offer a useful layer to assimilate diverse metrics for health promotion. Yet, for a large number of nodes, sensor networks still pose bottleneck problems due to high computational load and energy demands. In this paper, we propose a method to enable the construction of minimal distributed sensor networks, and discuss its potential applications for sensor networks in healthcare.
