Abstract
An approach to control continuous-time MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) time-delay processes subject to multiple output disturbances is developed in this paper. A LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator) predictive controller in the discrete-time domain is designed for such a purpose. To validate such an approach, the LQR predictive controller was applied successfully to MIMO time-delay processes exhibiting stable, unstable, integrating, large, and non-minimum phase modes. The output disturbances were selected arbitrarily.
