Abstract
This article describes the main characteristics of the evaluation model of student results, model that has been implemented for the preparation of the accreditation process of the Professional School of Systems Engineering of the National University of San Agustin of Arequipa. The model that is described shows a set of good practices oriented to the measurement of the student's results, and observable and measurable actions have been defined through which the development of the competences can be evidenced by means of performance indicators related to the results of the students. In order to define the actions in question, the general and institutional guidelines for the self-evaluation process with a view to accreditation were taken into account. In order to rescue the experiences in the implementation of the proposed model, in the form of lessons learned, highly significant procedures are synthesized in the process of evaluating the student's results.Whereas that assessment is one of the most important aspects of the training process, we propose some future challenges so that they validate the formative design making the evaluation is consistent with the educational objectives and student outcomes.
