Abstract
It has been confirmed that sporotricosis is endemic in a small mountain village in Northern Peru (Otuzco-La Libertad). This is based on the results of a study where 11.7 % of the population (total population tested 969) reacted positively to sporotrichin injected intradermally and three active cases were detected. © 1973 Dr. W.
