The educational and technological reality in our current educational system comes hand in hand with the incorporation of new tools that bring the students, in a playful and formative way, to the curricular contents. One of the technologies that take more momentum nowadays is the Augmented Reality (AR), which has been making its way in Regular Basic Education, however, the knowledge and the applicability of this digital tool in the teaching of reading comprehension result scarce in the development that is still this emerging technology in the field of didactics. In this paper we propose to use augmented reality to improve reading comprehension levels in students using educational software such as Unity and Vuforia, these applications are aimed at mobile device support since it facilitates the participation of students and comfort, improving reading comprehension.
