Abstract
The purpose of this research was to evaluate teachers' satisfaction with the quality of a Research Training Program in UTP, Northern Region, during the Covid 19 pandemic (Peru). To achieve this objective, a sample of 46 teachers, selected by non-probabilistic convenience sampling, was obtained and the degree of satisfaction with this program was measured. At the same time, the following information was collected from the participants: level of satisfaction with the design, evaluation and execution of the research training program. The results showed that 78.3% (36) of the participants considered that this program was very satisfactory for their development as teachers, while 21.7% (10) expressed the opposite. When considering the dimensions of the research training program, it was identified that 73.9% (34) of the participants were satisfied with the design of this program, while in the dimension of the evaluation of the research training program, 78.3% (36) of the participants were satisfied, and finally in the dimension of the execution, 63% of the participants were satisfied (29) with this program. Finally, it was concluded that the level of satisfaction of university teachers is high in relation to the design, implementation and evaluation of a research training program conducted during the Covid 19 pandemic because it contributes to develop their research skills for the formulation of research projects and preparation of scientific publications of the Technological University of Peru.
