Abstract
It is known that engineering has been progressing to a great extent, due to the demands of society for better economic and social development through projects that generate changes. This search places greater demands on professionals, requiring new skills and abilities usually linked to the development of public or investment projects. Therefore, the specializations in Project Management are gradually gaining prominence in the continuing training market and have become a crucial discipline in the field of engineering. In Peru, there are few postgraduate programs in the area of Projects that cover not only knowledge in their management but also focus on the development of the professional skills required by the graduate, which can be obtained not only in a didactic way, but also through experiences in different situations. The research through a comparative analysis aims to propose a curricular design aimed at acquiring skills in project management. Taking as a starting point the current proposal of the master's degree from the University of Piura, an improvement is developed in the curricular proposal of the teaching-learning processes and the evaluation system.
