Abstract
Numerous high schools are now using educational platforms to enhance educational practices and benefit all members of their institutions via online learning. According to the researchers’ early investigation, instructors have not yet completely embraced the WhatsApp application in Education. Thus, the research responds to an effort to ascertain the extent to which the WhatsApp Application is associated with English language acquisition. The study used a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational approach and included 90 students from a Peruvian high school. A questionnaire and a test were used to gather data, both of which had been verified earlier against the study’s goals. The findings reveal the presence of a significant correlation, with r = 0.016 (p-value < 0.005) as the significance value. WhatsApp can assist English instructors and students in teaching and studying the English language, as well as helping students enhance their English proficiency.
