Abstract
Entrepreneurs face the need to develop processes that allow them to adapt to the changes brought about by the pandemic, which require the search for new ways of thinking strategically to achieve their goals. The general objective of this study was to determine the qualities of strategic thinking used as a mechanism to promote entrepreneurship in the context of the pandemic in the city of Chiclayo-Peru. The research approach was quantitative, with a non-experimental, descriptive design; the sample consisted of 40 entrepreneurs; the instrument used was a Google form, structured by 18 items, on the Likert scale; The findings allow us to point out that in the entrepreneurs of the city of Chiclayo the managerial spirit is predominant. It is concluded that there is a tendency towards the superiority of the managerial spirit indicator with respect to the other two qualities of creative spirit and entrepreneurial spirit, for which actions are proposed that allow the development of all the qualities of strategic thinking.
