Based on the importance that the Digital Government has for many countries, including Peru, it is to establish what aspects are taken, for the modernization of public institutions, for analysis and reflection. Based on this, the objective of this article is to analyze the variables and indicators assumed in the scientific literature in the period from 2018 to 2022 to measure the Electronic Government and modernization in public institutions. To identify the documents to be analyzed, a systematic review of the literature was carried out. It is concluded, based on the systematic review of the literature, that the relationship of the Digital Government, Public Entities and Modernization are closely linked.
