Abstract
This research article describes the systematic review of an automatic wood drying oven that shows an efficient organization of the wood in its thermal treatment. The input of the wood is through a conveyor belt where a data acquisition is carried out that, through image processing, records the color and dimensions of the wood (length, width and thickness). Also, humidity sensors that will serve the stacking system to classify and catalog by its humidity and size, the most convenient location for the wood inside the heat treatment oven. The automatic system of the warehouse applied to the drying or treatment of wood determines if the wood is dry or not to move it and stack it according to its humidity. And if these have met the standards for drying wood, they are transferred to the exit as a ready product. The automatic wood stacking system is greatly benefit current heat treatment, which is demanded by human activity, and it improves the fuel efficiency, since the wood is dried individually and not as a whole, as is currently the case.
