Abstract
This paper presents a proportional plus resonant (P+RES) controller applied to the control of generated power from the switched reluctance generator (SRG). The P+RES controller is used to reject any frequencies outside the resonant point, where its gain is infinite. The controller was implemented on digital signal processor (TMS320F2835), and the experimental results show that the proposal can be a good alternative for SRG’s power control once, in addition to other benefits, they provide power ripple reduction.
