At present, we are going through a situation global pandemic that has forced a change in drastically the way universities are ingeded, opting for a distance education of which we are not used. Therefore, they had to adapt to change and rely on media such as Telegram and WhatssApp. The methodology used was a survey of teachers and students. This research details that these media have made distance education an effective means of learning without the need to be physically present. The objective of the article is to analyze the impact of Telegram and WhatsApp on virtual university teaching. The result of the research is the satisfaction on the part of students and teachers in the appropriate use of Telegram and Whatsapp. In conclusion, teachers and students stated that the use of Telegram and WhatsApp media in university education were of great help in teaching and learning as it allowed the interrelationship between them.
