Abstract
This paper proposes a new type of Nonsingular Terminal Sliding Mode Controller (NTSMC) based on the current error to overcome the nonlinearities presented in the dynamic model of Boost Converters. The NTSMC also uses a constant switching frequency to reduce the chattering effects which can cause lower control performances. Simulation results are shown to confirm the high performance and robustness of the proposed controller.
