Abstract
We report 62 species of bats for Jenaro Herrera, Department of Loreto, Peru, a locality with lowland tropical rain forest and disturbed habitats, and update the geographic distribution of each. One new species is reported for Peru : Vampyressa brocki. This site represents the only record for Micronycteris schmidtorum in Peru. Twenty eight species are new records for Loreto. Reproductive records are reported for 36 of the species. © 1993, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
