Abstract
We report on the Meeting of Scientific Women in Perú (MSWP), held on February 11, 2016. The event, which commemorated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, was held at the Department of Physical Sciences (FCF) of the Greater National University of San Marcos (UNMSM). We also discuss about the importance of the participation of professional women in the Department of Physical Sciences.
