Abstract
Software is an essential element in all fields of human activity, hence its importance and the need to make its development a multidisciplinary task, whose weakest pillar is the understanding between stakeholders and the development team. The experience described is the formation of development teams, willing to work in virtual environments, and that use various tools to develop deliverables. In addition to the expected learning achievements, students have been sought to develop communicative skills. The case of the subject “Software Construction”, developed in the Professional School of Systems Engineering, is presented. Sixteen development teams were formed, each with an individual project, for which a set of tasks and procedures specific to the specialty were established. As supporting methodologies, Problem-Based Learning and Cooperative Learning were used. The results show that 50% of the teams achieved a score between “Good” and “Very Good”, while the remaining teams achieved a “Regular” rating.
