Abstract
At the beginning of 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic, since in all the countries of the world efforts have been made to stop the rate of infections, with the isolation of the population; Peru was one of the countries with strict isolation, however we are about to experience a third wave; on May 2021, Peru has a fatality rate of 3.55%, it is the 5th country with the most deaths in Latin America and the Caribbean and 15th worldwide. A rapid identification of COVID-19 cases is necessary, for this reason an algorithm has been developed for the identification of CODID-19 in addition to bacterial and viral pneumonia through x-ray images; also, the development of a graphical interface, which helps to quickly diagnose suspected COVID-19 cases. The results shown are optimistic since a rate of approximately 80% has been achieved, however, work continues to further improve the efficiency of the system.
