Abstract
This paper presents a review of interesting experiences related to optimization in microgrid. These experiences have been classified according to the optimization designs that they have. Too, is presented a summary and discussion of the main optimization implementation experiences and the stage of the microgrid project they have been developed. The purpose is to have a state of the art and a starting point for subsequent investigations that lead to having dynamic electrical topologies that allow new optimization techniques in microgrids, especially in direct current microgrids, based on the dynamic change in physical infrastructure of the microgrid during its operation. Those investigations encompassing a similar set of optimization applications have also been considered.
