Abstract
It is known that the vapour compression cycle (VCC) is the most used system of refrigeration in industry; so, in this paper we will present a dynamic model based on the moving-boundary approach which will allow us to obtain the essential dynamics of the refrigerant in every phase without using multiple models. In contrast with previous work, this research considers two real components which are the receptor and the accumulator; thus, it integrates the heat transfer from the evaporator to the cold room. In addition, there is a presentation of an experimental validation of the refrigeration model together with the experimental plant of refrigeration from University of Piura (Peru). On the other hand, it is relevant to verify that the model of the temperature in the fruit, the pressure in the evaporator as well as the condenser match with the experimental measurements. The results proved an accuracy (R2) of 99.03%, 97.78% and 71.89%, respectively. Finally, this study provides a functional and an advantageous tool for model-based control technology.
