Abstract
For the population of the high Andean peasant communities, dreams can reveal transcendental information about the daily future, referring to health, labor production and emotional stability. These dreams will be taken as premonitory and will generate the performance of ritual activities, asking the divinities (pachamama, sacred mountains and ancestors) to appease the bad omens or give thanks for the gifts.
