Abstract
The oubtreak of coronavirus, name coined by World Health Organization (WHO) and declared pandemic in March 2020, has enormously impacted differents sectors of countries such as health, economy, education, politics, society, etc. Currently, scientists groups are working to develop a vaccine to strengthen immunological system against Covid-19. During the pandemic, governments promote partial, total lockdowns to prevent Covid-19 proliferation. Then, people was forced to stay at home, ration expenses, lost their job and some companies closed because of the low demand of their services/products. Therefore, academical people can study the pandemic and its effects from economic, health, social fields. The aim of this chapter is collect what was studied from January to July, discuss and contribute with extra analysis in Latin American region. Besides, motivate/promote the community to get involved on this main topic: Covid-19 impact in Latin America.
