Abstract
Paleontology and sedimentology of the El Molino Formation (Maastrichtian, Bolivia) and of its Andean equivalents demonstrate that their deposition occurred in a realm at least episodically connected with a sea. These data do not support the suggestion of a "continuous continental deposition' in this basin. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
