Abstract
The objective of this scientific paper is to examine publication statistics of the TELOS Magazine: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Sciences (2013-2015) to take them as inputs in the development of a series of recommendations for authors and publishers in reference to the management of scientific journals. The authors mainly used were: Barrera (2005), Day (1990), Lopez, Alvarado and Mungaray (2011), Roman (2001) and the UNESCO document (1983). The methodology used is the document review, in early journal papers, and later sources who have written about it. It is concluded that there are 3 common mistakes in writing scientific papers together with the problem of managing the structure thereof, in addition, the role of the editor is highlighted in the management of scientific journals. These results provide support for the authors to verify the way through which the scientific articles are beendeveloped and the authors can use to help themselves in the process of improvement.
