Abstract
The dynamism of the business environment requires a constant adaptation to changes arising in the market. To face this need of flexibility and adaptation, this paper seeks to examine the outlook for the generation of innovation promoted from the relation between University-Industry-State. First, a conceptual description of the Triple Helix model is performed and then various conditions for the successful implementation of the model are discussed and some case studies are analyzed. Among the conclusions, it appears that the Triple Helix model sets an environment for innovation, towards local and regional development.
