Abstract
The objective of the present work is to develop a solution that remotely strengthens the pronunciation of postoperative cleft lip patients. One of the problems as-sociated with cleft lip patients is that, despite undergoing a surgical procedure, they lose the ability to correctly pronounce certain phonemes, words or sentences. For this reason, the developed solution seeks to support these patients through the remote management of speech therapy sessions in three different stages: grimaces, phonemes and vocabulary. Both the grimaces and phonemes stages will be qualified by a doctor through a web application that will receive the multimedia files sent by the patients from a mobile application. While, in the vocabulary stage, the grading will be completely automated thanks to the integration of speech recognition technology in the mobile application. It should be noted that, in order to achieve consistency on the patients' side, recreational activities will be implemented that enliven the learning of therapy sessions.
