Abstract
La Situa, a fiesta celebrated by the Incas, is mentioned in many 16th and 17th century colonial documents. One of them is Cristobal de Molina's account, which is the most complete and detailed in comparison to other chroniclers. In this article, we will attempt to analyze four aspects of the La Situa de Molina narrative: the physical space where it took place; the possible records of its spaces, structures and cults; and its political and ideological aspects.
