Abstract
We have had to be protagonists of an era of greater awareness about the risks, uncertainties, in essence of “a catastrophic world” with a tendency to victimization; but at the same time, of opportune possibilities to improve living conditions and move towards an informational welfare state (Castell and Himanen; 2002), of social and personal nutrition. In that situational state, one of the most conflicting themes of the information society is recognized “superficially”: e-credibility, or more accurately, the dimensions that shape the perception of credibility on the web, (or e -credibility). For this purpose, some relevant dimensions have been selected to explain the sense of perception among university students about the “tool” most used in their various activities. The Network, in that sense, is part of its usual actions and favorable consideration; As a result of the results, an appreciable assessment is inferred towards the various services offered by the internet.
