Abstract
The objective of this study was to describe and analyze the level of perception of the collective teaching self-efficacy of the professors of a Spanish public university, through the application of the Collective Teaching Self-Efficacy Scale of University Teachers consisting of 30 items with a scale of Likert response of 6 points. The level of the research was descriptive, the non-experimental type and the cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 414 university professors (41.1% women and 58.9% men) of different faculties and was obtained through an incidental non-probabilistic sampling. The results indicate a moderate level of total collective teaching self-efficacy and also in 4 of its 6 dimensions. Research was the dimension that obtained the best level of perception of collective teaching self-efficacy and the Interaction and creation of a positive climate which resulted in the lowest perception of the construct.
