Abstract
The correct performance of public entities favors the social and economic development of each nation. For this reason, the work performance of the administrative personnel of these public entities is vital for the fulfillment of the goals of each State. This research aims to describe the correlation between job performance with salary, seniority and academic level of administrative personnel of Peruvian public entities. An explanatory quantitative methodology is used. The descriptive method based on a single evaluation moment was used, applied to a population of 188 administrative workers. Statistical indicators determined that there is a high correlation between job performance with the salary of administrative staff, their seniority and their academic level. The art of knowing how to manage the salary and improvement system is a challenge for managers. The search for equilibrium and balance in a salary administration, based on external factors, should never escape the tools that should define the management decision framework of an organization.
