Abstract
The Eremolepidaceae are represented in Peru by two genera and three species (Brako & Zarucchi, 1993), all of them parasitic trees. Here we recognize one endemic species in the genus Lepidoceras. This taxon grows in the upper limits of the Mesoandean region, between 3500 and 3600 m elevation. It has not yet been found in any of Peru's protected areas system.
