Abstract
This article develops the proposal of a new method of learning the analysis courses of electronic devices, for high school students in Sciences in electronic engineering, a diagnosis of results that have been obtained in the teaching of these Subjects show us poor results of the method traditional that is currently being applied, in the qualitative understanding of the most significant concepts that it seeks to fix students. Facing this problem is presents a new methodology called TOP-DOWN, which It is based on starting the teaching of each topic of the subject from a practical application, through a system medium-sized electronic (high level), which is observed and experienced by the student and whose cognitive conception it is based on functional blocks in the form of “black boxes”, to from this point it is internalized in the blocks that we lead to the objective of the topic being taught, to finally reach more internal levels (low level) of detail of the device under study. The case study focuses on middle school students of Electronic Engineering in the National University of Engineering. The application is exemplified taking a topic of the subject. Finally they show up primary results of the application of the method. The article presenting some advantages and disadvantages of the method proposed based on the experience gained, as well as some specifications and requirements for the application Successful method.
