Abstract
TiN coatings were prepared by an alternative ion beam assisted deposition (IBAD) method on different substrates aiming at low σ values after long time air exposure and consequently a multipactor discharge threshold at higher rf power. It was found that the coatings are appropriate to prevent multipactor in aluminum waveguides.
