Abstract
We present a fabrication and an experimental investigation of the birefringent properties of a Highly Birefrigent Hybrid Photonic Crystal Fiber. Polarization dependent loss as high as 21 dB is experimentally obtained on the photonic bandgap edges. ©2009IEEE.
