Abstract
During the last years, a series of technological and virtual innovations has been implemented, especially in the education field, most of them have been implemented without the necessary studies. In this paper, we show an analysis of the justifications and the reasons why the educational platform 'Edmodo' has been specifically created for the Z Generation. This tool is used by them when they start to pursue their university degree. We conclude that the educational virtual environments must be applied correctly to the corresponding generation.
