Abstract
A tectonic nappe showing important horizontal displacement is evidenced at the Altiplano-Cordillera Oriental transition in Bolivia (20°S). Its emplacement is related to the eastward transport of a large allochthon domain in the late Oligocene-early Miocene. The basal decollement of the allochthon is located in a stratigraphic unit whose 3-dimensional shape controlled the geometry of deformation. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
