The research was carried out with the objective of knowing the perception of the students of the Sociology faculty of the National University of the Center of Peru (UNCP), on the University Social Responsibility; for which the scientific method and the deductive method were used; Under the quantitative methodological approach, of basic type, descriptive level and transversal non-experimental design, the sample corresponds to 212 students from III to X semester, to whom the social responsibility perception survey (adapted from de Vallaeys, de La Cruz and Sasia, 2009) was applied; arriving at the conclusion that the students of the faculty of Sociology perceive that the university social responsibility in the UNCP is deficient.
