Abstract
This article bases palliative care in terminal cancer patients from the criteria of philosophical anthropology. The binding anthropo-philosophical concepts and the praxis of the health sciences are: palliative care, dignity, bodily and spiritual suffering, death and bioethical issues of palliative treatment, aspects that allow health personnel to reflect on care for this type of patients, given the possibility of accompanying them humanely and with dignity in the face of the death they are experiencing, even caring for family members who may be affected by pathological mourning. © 2022, Universidad del Zulia.
