Technology in the educational process, today represents an essential and essential tool, being a requirement of modern life, which is radically incorporated in a mandatory confinement product of the pandemic caused by the SARS 2 virus that is called COVID-19. Faced with these scenarios, the use of information and communication technologies in all sectors and academic levels is deployed with great emphasis and on a mandatory basis. In this sense, the objective of the present study was to explore the technologies in the educational process in the face of the new scenarios imposed by the world. The research corresponds to a theoretical documentary and / or bibliographic review. The use of technologies in classrooms is compulsory. It is a need that explains the diversity that exists in universities and in academics themselves, adapting to the demands of current life and even more so in circumstances that are maximized in times of pandemic. Students deploy in their cognitive structure more fully in the use of technologies, and add them in a compulsory way in their learning processes, and although these technologies must be seen as a means before becoming an end in itself; the importance of integrating them urgently and permanently in the educational process, makes use of the generation of positive externalities in learning environments. It is possible to enable and enhance technologies in education in order to activate the educational process without neglecting the quality of its results.
