Abstract
This paper shows the methodology for the design of a Doherty Power Amplifier (DPA), based on a well stablished non linear model for a GaN device, complemented with a harmonic suppression network. For 30dBm input power we got 18% of improvement in efficiency with respect to the conventional Doherty configuration. This design can be useful for 5G applications in the Sub 6GHz band.
