Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To determine the burden of the disease priority in the cancers by sex, the life cycle and the origin in the Lambayeque Care Network (RAL) 2013. METHOD: A cross sectional design, in the patients with cancer priority included in the Management System hospital and the surveillance subsystem hospital mortality, we excluding the non-insurances patients, and the patients without the definitive diagnosis. The guide was used to apply the methodology of the estimating the burden of disease Essalud (2007). We used the statistics descriptive and calculation of the years lost due to premature mortality (YLL) the DISMOD II software and the years of the disability adjusted life (ADL) used the software life Gesmor® statistics were used. RESULTS: The AVP were 1 930.44 years, and the leukemia and the multiple myeloma 622.77 (32.26 %), the breast 411.86 (21.34 %), lung and the bronchus 275.11 (14.2 5 %) cancer. The AVD were 2 849.92 years, being responsible for the gynecologic cancer 72.56 %, led by the breast cancer 42.05 % (1 198.53 years) and the cervical 30.51 % (869.79 years) cancer; the prostate cancer plus 14.83 % (422.68 years). Life years lost health (DALYs) were 4 780.36 years, with gynecologic cancer 55.19 % (2 630.72 years) headed by breast 33.68 % (1 610.39 years) cancer, followed by cancer 21.51 % cervix (1 028.35 years). CONCLUSION: The DALY is higher in the breast cancer, followed by the cervical cancer. .
