Abstract
QIEA-R (Quantum Inspired Evolutionary Algorithm with Real Codification) inspired by the concept of quantum superposition was proposed for solving numerical optimization problems. QIEA-R was compared with Differential Evolution (DE) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) on the dimension of 30 input variables. This study analyzes the performance of QIEA-R with Differential Evolution (DE), Evolutionary Strategy (ES) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) on the dimension of 250, 500 and 1000 input variables. The experimental results show that QIEA-R is significantly better than DE, ES, and PSO.
