Abstract
The focus of this study is concentrated in the modeling and digital implementation of high-frequency switching devices present in the structure of a static DC-DC converter. Initially they were studied digital simulation techniques for electromagnetic transients, based on methods of numerical integration, for the modeling of basic circuit elements, such as inductors, capacitors and resistors. Then, methods for representing high-frequency switches were studied, which are based on representations of switching states such as inductors and RC-series branches. This type of representation allowed the admittance matrix that represents the system remained constant throughout the simulation, resulting in the reduction of computational effort and consequently on the use of small steps of calculation. The validation of the model was performed by comparing the simulation with the experimental results.
