Abstract
IA prototype drying system for coffee grains was developed using an oven with a feedback control system to accomplish this task. The coffee grains enter the system wet and are then subjected to a stable temperature of 45°C, thus achieving uniform drying. As this is an initial version, the container has been sized for 500grs and both the temperature and the drying time have been calculated to guarantee the quality of the drying.
