Abstract
We focus on the processes of self-evaluation in up to three engineering programs of a young private Peruvian university locate in the edge of Lima city. Based on the fact that the university system runs equally for a important fraction of Latin American universities, we have proposed a possible way to carry out a self-evaluation procedure based entirely in the majors of the programs by assuming that all of them are expecting a full evaluation towards to the program accreditation. From our scheme, the accreditation might require to implement solid scenarios where student carries out tasks of research inside of the capstone project, fact that would give capabilities to the future bachelor not only in the employability sectors but also in territories of purely academic activities.
