Abstract
A report of the results obtained from an experimental infection of the domestic dog Canis familiaris, with Corynosoma obtuscens Lincicome, 1943, which is an acanthocephale of great infectious capacity and unspecific for the ultimate host, for which it may be considered a potential parasite for the people who eat raw fish as "cebiche", a typical dish of our country, is given in the present work. The presence of mature eggs of C. obtuscens in the feces of a non-habitual host is reported for the first time.
