Abstract
This work proposes the design of an intelligence system for a health organization, as there is a need to generate indicators for the improvement of processes and decision making at all levels of the organization. Therefore, the objective of this study is to implement a system that allows us to exploit the information and to generate new business opportunities in the various areas of interest to the company. In addition, the processes can be automated and optimized by the visualization and understanding of the indicators, facilitating the availability of information and add value to the new decisions within the organization. For this reason, the proposed design simulates a web environment designed with QlikView business intelligence software, which consists of a connection to a SQL server database that has been developed using SQL server data tools under the dimensional design methodology of Kimball. The results of this work could help to health organization to make the best decision to improve its management and productivity. This system also could be applied to other similar business.
