Abstract
Between 1998 and 2019, of the 12 municipal banks in Peru, four have managed to consolidate economically and financially, another three moderately and five have difficulties. The objective is to determine the key success factors in municipal banks in Peru during the period, supported by the application of the business success hexagon model in order to prove that when the relationship is direct and significant between Financial Revenue with Equity Profits and Profits, Municipal Funds achieve better profits and consolidate assets, assets and financial income and ensure financial success. Twelve municipal banks have been analyzed, 228 accounts between 1998-2019, from the perspective of econometric analysis. The results show that there is a satisfactory correlation and explanation between financial income, net income, share capital, equity and total assets in the first 5 banks, concluding that financial success determines business growth, Good management is summed up in fulfilling that profits are capitalized and increase equity, allowing possible indebtedness to consolidate assets and generate better financial income.
