Abstract
In times of a COVID-19 pandemic and particularly in the health sector, effective leadership is the best guarantee to successfully face change. Therefore, the objective of this research was to perform a bivariate analysis to verify the relationship between leadership and organizational climate in times of pandemic, using a non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design. A sample of 94 nurses who were surveyed using two online questionnaires was probabilistically selected to assess their perception of the leadership and organizational climate of their work institution. Using Pearson's correlation coefficient (r), it was found that there is a significant direct relationship of 45.3% between the study variables (p = 0.000), which leads to the conclusion that effective leadership is conducive to an adequate organizational climate.
